While exploring an area in Rockaway New Jersey, I found a yellow brick with the inscription JH Gautier Co of Jersey City. Can you tell me anything about this company? Many thanks!

The GAUTIER Co made firebrick. Jim Graves, in his work, Brick Manufacturers of the United States, indicates the firm was in business in the time of 1901-1927
