I have found a piece of brick in a mountain in Argentina where I live. The brick is stamped with A.P green in the first line and green tex in the second one. I was wondering how could this brick end up in Argentina and what could have been used for.

My husband found a white brick in our backyard in St Louis, MO. The brick is stamped with AP Green on the first line and SPLITS.M on the second line. Our home was built in 1937 but was not built with any bricks on this sort. Any information you have on this particular one would be interesting to hear.

Hello. I have a keystone shaped tapered brick with the makers name imprinted in it with an oval slug plate. It's A.P. Green, Mexico, Mo. my friend and I were hiking in a Chicago, Il ravine and we found a brick that said A. P. GREEN & EMPIRE D. P. Who are those people??? Did they own a brick company????

I found a white brick in the rubble of an old dry kiln built in 1930 in a small sawmill town of Forester, AR. The town and mill have been gone since 1952 and the site is now being developed into an historical park. We would like to have any information concerning the building of this kiln for Caddo River Lumber Co. The brick is stamped A.P. Green Empire D.P.

We found what looks like a well in our backyard when we were doing some digging. It is lined with bricks. One of the bricks has A.P. Green Empire D.P. on it. When were these made and are they still manufactured? Our house was built in the late 1800's to early 1900's.
