After my father died, we found a briefcase of his,which had two bricks in it. they have "JMC"
on them. My mother had no knowledge of them.
Anyone have any thoughts? Dennie

Cleaning off our old brick walk in Milford, Connecticut revealed a mélange of bricks manufactured in the New Haven area, all identifiable thanks to your excellent site:
KANE, SHARES, STILES (block and script), JMC, and MBCo. Also revealed were 1927 and 1982 bricks, dates, I take it? Thank you! Lewis from Milford.
