  1. Erika,

The STAPLES was made by Alva S. and Terry Staples possibly in their plant in Malden, NY. The EMPIRE was made by the Empire Brick and Supply Co. The firm had its office in NY City but the plant was located along the Hudson River in the Town of Stockport, ... north of Hudson, NY.

The DeNBCo was made by the DeNoyelles family in Haverstraw, NY. The Pevy does not "ring" a bell. Would you have a geographic location for where you may have found it? Also is it possible that the Pevy is possibly a PECK (for example) whose original letters may have been damaged to the degree that they just look as if they spell Pevy?

If there were a way to email us photo of it, we would be most interested to see it.

Thank you for sharing, Fred Rieck
