Hi Marvin, According to Jim Graves' work, "Brick Brands of the United States", There were two possible brick manufacturers which molded "TEXAS" into their brick.
One is the "Abilene Brick Co" of Abilene, TX, and the other possibility is The "Texas Press Brick Co" of Ferris, TX.
